On Wednesday 25th June afternoon, two tutorials will be proposed at free for registered people (limited number of participants, compulsory registration) concerning R software. Participants will be invited to work on their own computer.

The program is the following:

- Building graphical user interfaces on R (led by Thomas Verron): during research activity, it may happend to have to supply users with R programs whereas they are not used to programming. The aim of this tutorial is to acquire the basic tools to implement one's R code in a graphical user-friendly interface.

- Building Rcommander plugins (led by Milan Bouchet-Valat): Rcommander is a user-friendly graphical interface of particular interest to gradually teach R to beginners. However, the basic interface only proposes a limited series of methods not always fitting one's needs. During this tutorial, the basics of such plugin programming will be given and you will have the opportunity of practicing with you own issues.
